§ 3-30. Fire zones established.
There is hereby created within the city a first fire zone and a second fire zone, said zones to encompass and include the areas bounded as follows:

First fire zone. The boundaries of the district known and designated as the first fire zone shall be, and is described, as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of the alley running north and south between 21st and 22nd Avenues in the City of Gulfport, with the north line of U.S. Highway 90, and running thence north along the centerline of said alley to the south line of the Louisville & Nashville Railroad right-of-way; thence running in a southwesterly direction along the south line of said railroad right-of-way to a point due south, or in the centerline of the alley running north and south between 24th and 25th Avenues in the City of Gulfport; thence running north along the centerline of said alley between 24th and 25th Avenues to the centerline of 25th Street in the City of Gulfport; thence running west along the centerline of 25th Street to the centerline of the alley running north and south between 25th and 26th Avenues in the City of Gulfport; thence running due south along the centerline of said alley to the south line of Louisville & Nashville Railroad right-of-way; thence running in a southwesterly direction, along the south line of said railroad right-of-way, to the center of the alley between 30th and 31st Avenues in the City of Gulfport; thence running south to the north line of U.S. Highway 90; thence running in a northeasterly direction along the north line of U.S. Highway 90, to the point of beginning.

Second fire zone. The second fire zone of the city shall include all of the area within the boundaries hereinafter described except the area included within the first fire zone, such boundaries of the second fire zone being described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of 21st Avenue, with the north line of U.S. Highway 90 in the City of Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi, and running thence north along the centerline of 21st Avenue to the intersection of the centerlines of 21st Avenue and 22nd Street; thence running west along the centerline of 22nd Street to the centerline of 24th Avenue; thence running north along the centerline of 24th Avenue to the centerline of 24th Street, thence running east along the centerline of 24th Street to the centerline of Pratt Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Pratt Avenue to the centerline of 25th Street; thence east along the centerline of 25th Street to the centerline of 13th Avenue; thence north along the centerline of 13th Avenue to the centerline of 26th Street; thence east along the centerline of 26th Street to the centerline of Kenneth Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Kenneth Avenue to the centerline of Deborah Place; thence northeasterly along the centerline of Deborah Place to the centerline of 27th Street; thence east along the centerline of 27th Street to the centerline of Pine Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Pine Avenue to the centerline of 28th Street; thence east along the centerline of 28th Street to the centerline of 6th Avenue; thence north along the centerline of 6th Avenue to the centerline of 29th Street; thence east along the centerline of 29th Street to the centerline of Gulf Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Gulf Avenue to the centerline of Mississippi Street; thence east along the centerline of Mississippi Street to the centerline of Chicago Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Chicago Avenue to the centerline of 31st Street; thence east along the centerline of 31st Street to the centerline of A Avenue; thence north along the centerline of A Avenue to the centerline of 32nd Street; thence east along the centerline of 32nd Street to the centerline of E Avenue; thence north along the centerline of E Avenue to the centerline of 32½ Street; thence east along the centerline of 32½ Street to the northeast corner of Mississippi City Cemetery; thence northeasterly along the northern boundary of said cemetery to the centerline of H Avenue; thence north along the centerline of H Avenue to the southwest corner of the Pass Road Elementary School property; thence easterly along the southern boundary of said school property to the centerline of Hancock Avenue; thence southerly along the centerline of Hancock Avenue to the centerline of 33rd Street; thence easterly along the centerline of 33rd Street to the corporate line on Courthouse Road; thence northerly along the corporate line to the northeast corner of the corporate line on Pass Road; thence southwesterly along the corporate line on Pass Road a distance of 425 feet, more or less, to a point where the corporate line veers northward; thence northerly along the corporate line a distance of 450 feet, more or less, to a point where the corporate line veers eastward; thence westerly to the intersection of the centerlines of Hancock Avenue and 37th Street; thence south along the centerline of Hancock Avenue to the centerline of the alley between 36th Street and the Pass Road; thence southwesterly along said alley to the centerline of Washington Avenue and 35th Street; thence west along the centerline of 35th Street to the centerline of Oak Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Oak Avenue to the centerline of 36th Street extended; thence west along said extended line of 36th Street to the centerline of D Avenue; thence south along the centerline of D Avenue to the centerline of 35th Street; thence west along the centerline of 35th Street to the centerline of Hewes Avenue; thence south along Hewes Avenue to the northeast line of St. John's Catholic School property; thence westerly along the north boundary of said school property to the northwest corner of said property; thence southerly along the west boundary of said property line to the northeast corner of the Northeast Elementary School property; thence westerly along the north boundary of said school property to the centerline of Gulf Avenue; thence along the centerline of Gulf Avenue to the centerline of 32nd Street; thence west along the centerline of 32nd Street to the centerline of 5th Avenue; thence south along the centerline of 5th Avenue to the centerline of 31st Street; thence west along 31st Street to the east line of Block 1, Lot 8 south 675 feet; thence southwesterly 200 feet to the centerline of Compromise Street (30th Street); thence west 125 feet to the east line of Mud Avenue; thence south to the centerline of 29th Street; thence west along the centerline of 29th Street to the centerline of Hudson Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Hudson Avenue to the centerline of 28th Street; thence west along the centerline of 28th Street to the centerline of 15th Avenue; thence south along the centerline of 15th Avenue to the centerline of 27th Street; thence west along the centerline of 27th Street to the centerline of 17th Avenue; thence south along the centerline of 17th Avenue to the centerline of 26th Street; thence west along the centerline of 26th Street to the centerline of 24th Avenue; thence running north along the centerline of 24th Avenue to the north line of 28th Street; thence running west along the north line of 28th Street to a point 190 feet east of the centerline of 25th Avenue; thence running north to the east-west half section line of Section 33, Township 7 South, Range 11 West; thence continuing north to the north line of said Section 33; thence running west to a point due north of a point 190 feet west of the centerline of 25th Avenue as measured along the east-west centerline of said Section 33; thence running due south to a point 190 feet west of the centerline of said 25th Avenue on the north line of 28th Street; thence running west to the centerline of 26th Avenue; thence running south and along the centerline of 26th Avenue to the centerline of 19th Street; thence running west along the centerline of 19th Street to the centerline of 31st Avenue; thence running south along the centerline of 31st Avenue to the north line of U.S. Highway 90; thence running in a southwesterly direction along the north line of U.S. Highway 90 to the centerline of 36th Avenue; thence running in a southeasterly direction at right angles to U.S. Highway 90 to the shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico or Mississippi Sound, thence running in an easterly direction and following the meanderings of the shoreline of the Mississippi Sound out the shoreline of the West Pier along the innerharbor line of Gulfport Harbor, out the waterline of East Pier and following the waterline of said Gulfport Harbor and Bert Jones Yacht Harbor (including all of the land and/or reclaimed area thereof) to a point due south of 19th Avenue in the City of Gulfport; thence running north to the north line of U.S. Highway 90; thence running in a southwesterly direction along the north line of U.S. Highway 90 to the point of beginning.
