§ 7-15. Warning devices on streets; violations.

  • (a)

    Driving on. It shall be unlawful for any person not engaged in the construction or repair of the streets, roads, avenues, or alleys of the city to drive, run or operate any vehicle on, over or across any road, street, avenue or alley in the city that is being worked, repaired or constructed and that is barricaded or blocked to traffic.

    (b)

    Interfering with barricades, warning devices. It shall be unlawful for any person other than a duly authorized officer or employee of the city to damage, destroy or remove any barricade obstruction or barrier, or any lantern, light or sign placed on or across any road, avenue, street or alley by the city upon which repair or construction work is being done.
