§ 6-285. Minors prohibited to operate two-wheeled motor vehicles.

No person shall cause, authorize or knowingly permit his minor child or ward to operate a motorcycle or motor scooter or any motor vehicle on the streets of, or any public property in, the city when such minor is not authorized to do so under the laws of the state, and no person shall authorize or knowingly permit any vehicle owned by him or under his control to be driven upon any of the streets of or public property of, the city by any person who is not authorized to do so under the laws of the state.
