§ 2-118. Enforcement.

  • (a)

    Coast Guard officials, officials of the Bureau of Marine Resources (BMR) of the State of Mississippi, or any other state enforcement officers empowered by the state to enforce the laws, rules and regulations concerning boat and water safety as provided under Section 59-21-151, Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, officials of the Sheriff's Department of Harrison County, Mississippi, and officials of the Gulfport Police Department shall have the power and authority to enforce all provisions of this article.

    (b)

    Invalidity or repeal of any one (1) or more provisions of this article shall not affect the validity of any other provisions hereof.

    (c)

    This article shall be in full force and effect from and after June 2, 1992.
