§ 1-226. Ratification of established municipal court system.

(a)

Statutory authority. The municipal court system of the city was established and does operate according to the laws of the state requiring the establishment of a municipal court in all municipalities of the state (MCA 1972, § 21-23-1 et seq., as amended).

(b)

Confirmation and application of state law. This article confirms the established municipal court system in the city and provides that the municipal court and its officers shall operate and manage the court according to said state law, and any provision of this article declared invalid or in conflict with any state law shall not due to its invalidity affect the validity of any other provision of this article.
