§ 1-98. Department of engineering established; responsibilities.

(a)

The department of engineering is hereby established and shall be headed by a director who shall be appointed and shall serve pursuant to the provisions of Miss. Code Ann. 1972, Section 21-8-23.

(b)

The department of engineering shall have the responsibility for administration, supervision, management and operation of engineering services, streetlights, and wastewater treatment.
