§ 11-126. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Deep wells shall be defined as any well exceeding one hundred fifty (150) feet in depth and/or any well being installed for the purpose of providing water for human consumption.

    Shallow wells shall be defined as any well not exceeding one hundred fifty (150) feet in depth and/or any well being installed for any purpose other than providing a water supply for human consumption.
